Applications are invited by Pakistan Railways, Headquarters office, Lahore for appointment/engagement of retired supervisory staff of Signal & Mechanical Loco Department on contract basis for a period of one year from suitable candidates having retired on superannuation i.e., 60 years as posts mentioned against each subject to physical fitness.

Maximum age limit shall be 62 years.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CONTRACT APPOINTMENT:

1. Only those candidates who have worked on above category will be eligible for contract appointment.
2. The selected candidates will draw their salary, according to their last pay drawn along with usual allowances, admissible under the contract grant; however, they will not be entitled for any kind of distributed bonus/gratuity and pension.
3. Period of contract one year may be extendable further for one year if required by Pakistan Railways.
4. The selected candidates may be asked to join for appointment for contract appointment without assigning any reason.
5. Number of posts can be changed without assigning any reason.
6. Selected candidates will be required to pass medical examination from Pakistan Railways Hospital only.
7. Those retired officially, only nominee, dismissed of retired on medical ground will not be eligible for appointment.
8. Call letter will be issued to the candidates eligible for contract appointments.
9. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates called for interview and Medical examination.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:
Application must be accompanied by the attested copies of the following Necessary Certificates:

• All educational certificates
• National Identity Card (Computerized)
• Experience related Identity Card/Experience Certificate
• Photocopy of PPO
• Photocopy of LPC
• Service Certificate
• Three (03) recent passport size photographs
• Three (03) postal envelopes (with RAd card) and complete address Cell No. written thereon also be sent (linked) with application.
• Experience certificate of renowned organization (for Sub Engineer Signal/B-11).
