Intelligence Test followed by Academic Test in the following subjects through e-Testing:

All candidates with Pre-Medical background for Permanent Commission: English & Physics
All candidates with Pre-Engineering / ICS / DAE background for Permanent Commission: English, Physics & Maths
06 GD (P) Supplementary Course / 135 CSC: Academic Test in relevant subject

Initial Medical Examination & Interview at I&S Centre.

Initial Physical Test:

Only shortlisted candidates would be detailed for ISSB.
Test / Interview by ISSB Kohat / Gujranwala / Malir / Quetta.
Final Medical Examination at CMB Lahore.
Flying Aptitude Test (FAT) of GD (P) candidates only at I&SC Rawalpindi.
After the final merit listing, GD (P) / AD candidates would be inducted in CAE for BE degree program as per 'Service Requirements', while remaining candidates would undertake BS in Aviation Management. Upon successful completion of the BE / BS programs, candidates would get permanent commission in PAF and GD (P) Course would be detailed for 'Flying Training' at PAFAA.
Interview by AHQ Selection Board for CSC Candidates only.
Final Selection by Air Headquarters is ordered by merit.

Note:

Appearing candidates are also eligible to apply provided they have obtained 70% marks in F. Sc / 'A' Level Part-I and bring a certificate from the Principal that they are likely to pass F.Sc / 'A' Level examination in the prescribed grades (F.Sc courses only). Candidates with 'O' / 'A' Level background are required to produce equivalent certificates (Pre-Engineering / Pre-Medical / Computer Science) etc.
Candidates who have completed their educational qualification (SSC / HSSC / A Level) are eligible to apply from their respective boards.

INELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS

A candidate is ineligible if he:
(a) Rejected by ISSB / GHQ / NHQ / AHQ selection boards..
(b) Twice Rejected by ISSB for Post Graduate Entry.
(c) Twice Rejected by ISSB for intermediate / graduate (PMA / Graduate / Equivalent) and once rejected by ISSB OR GHQ / NHQ / AHQ based selection boards.
(d) Once Rejected by ISSB for intermediate / graduate (PMA / Graduate / Equivalent) and twice rejected by ISSB OR GHQ / NHQ / AHQ based selection boards.
(e) Twice Screened out by ISSB.
(f) Tested within four months (120 days) gap of previous appearance in ISSB except waiver granted by the competent authority. However, bar of 120 days will not be applicable to candidates appearing in GHQ/NHQ/AHQ selection boards.
(g) Dismissed / Removed / De barred from Govt services including armed forces.
(h) Convicted in a court of law for any heinous offense (to be ascertained by the competent military authority).
(i) Permanently declared UNFIT by Appeal Medical Board (PMB) or AMB.
(j) Declared medically unfit due to Hepatitis B & C (AMB cannot be requested).
(k) Withdrawn from any bonded armed forces college / institution on disciplinary grounds.
(l) Withdrawn / Discharged / resigned or purchase release from any armed forces officers academy / training institution on any ground.
(m) Tampering of academic certificates / forgery / concealment to get undue advantage will make an applicant permanently ineligible for all types of commission in Armed Forces.
(n) Gives incomplete, false or wrongful information.
(o) Thrice screened out by Army / Navy/ Air Force during preliminary selection.
